The 2011 Sleepy Hollow / Tarrytown Memorial Day Parade gave the public their first glimpse of the Sleepy Hollow Fire Department Junior Corps. Started in 2009, this was the first opportunity for the Corps to march with the rest of the Fire Department.
The Junior Corps consists of teenagers between the ages of 14 to 17 who have an interest in the Fire Service. Led by 2nd Assistant Chief Haggerty, Captain Faustino (R12), Captain Romero (E87) and Captain Scelza (TL38) they have become an asset to the Department.
