Santa Clause paid an early visit to wonderful kids of Blythedale Children's Hospital in Valhalla, New York on December 20, 2013, arriving in style on board Rescue 12. Showing up at the doors with lights flashing and sirens blaring, Sleepy Hollow PD Officer Wendy Yancey, and firefighters Captain Keith Okie, Lieutenant Scott Ferguson, Lieutenant Carlos Barros and Probationary Firefighter Devin McManus accompanied the Sleepy Hollow High School Jazz Band and Chorus to this annual event, which features classic holiday music as well as toys and gifts collected by the students.

This tradition has been going strong for nearly thirty years and is the most anticipated event for the Fire and Police Departments as well as the students of Sleepy Hollow High School.
