On Wednesday November 20, 2013 at approximately 1245 hours the Sleepy Hollow Police Department received multiple 991 calls reporting fire on the roof of 172 Cortlandt Street in Sleepy Hollow. The Sleepy Hollow Fire Department confirmed the roof and eaves were on fire. The fire was confined to the roof with the brave efforts of the Sleepy Hollow Fire Department and surrounding departments. The residents of the building were displaced and are getting assistance from The Red Cross.
