Local Departments Assist with 26 Angels Foundation Event

On Sunday May 5, 2013 several members from the Sleepy Hollow Fire Department and numerous other local fire departments including Pocantico Hills, Archville, Thornwood, and Pleasantville assisted at an event for the 26 Angels Foundation. The foundation was created by a lead teacher from the Sandy Hook School in Newtown, CT. The event was at Candlewood Lake in Danbury, CT and the Fire Departments volunteered their time to assist in cooking for the event so the students and families of Sandy Hook could enjoy a relaxing day including fishing on Candlewood Lake.
