On Sunday July 22, 2012 at approximately 1224HRS the Sleepy Hollow Fire Department was dispatched for a reported vehicle fire IFO 18 Howard Street. Deputy Chief Hennessey Sr. 2314 was the first unit on location and confirmed a vehicle fire.
Engine 85 arrived shortly after and firefighters went into foam operations for about 15 minutes to put out the fire. Once the fire was knocked down firefighters began overhauling the vehicle.
All units returned to service without incident in under an hour.
