SHFD responds to Pocantico Hills for Ice Rescue

At approximately 09:28 hours, the Sleepy Hollow Fire Department was contacted by Westchester County's 60 Control for mutual aid to the Pocantico Hills Fire District for any animal on a frozen lake in the Rockefeller State Park Preserve, in the area behind the Pocantico Hills Central School. Firefighters from Pocantico Hills and Sleepy Hollow worked together to retrieve the deer from the lake. No injuries were reported. News story and video linked below.
